“New Zealand’s reputation as being a prime filming location has been strengthened with the current success of recent productions such as the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Last Samurai, Zena Warrior Princess, Hercules etc. International Television Production houses however, experienced difficulty acquiring local resources. The NZ Crews concept sought to fulfil this international demand by building an accessible web based community of New Zealand’s most experienced television freelance professionals.
